The Messy Middle | 12pm - 2pm AEST
You know how to get a project going and how to write it up. But nobody teaches you the bit in between, where the data piles up, the files multiply, and "I'll sort it out later" quietly becomes a problem.
This small-group session is about that messy middle. We will work out where you are losing valuable time because you don’t have a system to manage the mess. We will build a project setup that holds your research life together. You will leave with a folder structure that makes sense, data you can find and trust, and a way of planning backwards from the end so that you don’t end up in a panic come write up time.
Who it's for: Honours, Grad Dip Adv, and PhD students who are collecting data and are losing track of things.
What you'll leave with: a scaffold to manage your project that will reduce overwhelm and prevent last minute chaos.
