Tempted to ask Claude or chatGPT to give you feedback on your thesis draft?
This prompt will keep them in check. Left to themselves, these tools do your thinking for you. They rewrite your sentences and invent citations that sound right. This prompt sets the rules before you paste your draft in. It will ensure that the GenAI doesn’t touch your wording or name references for you; It will make Claude point you in the right direction, but not find literature for you. It will make chatGPT less likely to hand you answers, and will set up the session so that your GenAI tool expects you to argue back rather than nod along.

The Messy Middle | 12pm - 2pm AEST
You know how to get a project going and how to write it up. But nobody teaches you the bit in between, where the data piles up, the files multiply, and "I'll sort it out later" quietly becomes a problem.
This small-group session is about that messy middle. We will work out where you are losing valuable time because you don’t have a system to manage the mess. We will build a project setup that holds your research life together. You will leave with a folder structure that makes sense, data you can find and trust, and a way of planning backwards from the end so that you don’t end up in a panic come write up time.
